The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, Tolulope Olowu, for allegedly stabbing another to death over car parking.
Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday.
The spokesperson said the incident happened on Saturday at about 10.00 p.m. at First Unity Estate in the Badore area of Ajah.
Other residents reported the case involving the two men, both living on Gbadamosi Street, to the Langbasa Police Division.
The 41-year-old suspect and the deceased, 33-year-old Pablo, had a heated argument over the parking of a vehicle on their street.
In the process, Tolulope allegedly stabbed Pablo with a knife in the stomach, and he died on the spot, Hundeyin narrated.
“Teams of detectives from the division visited and photographed the scene. The corpse has been deposited at IDH Morgue, Yaba, for autopsy,” he said.
