Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has responded to his colleague Julius Agwu’s accusations that he hung up on him during a phone conversation. This is the latest development in a lingering feud between AY and fellow comedian Basketmouth over a payment of N30,000.

Julius Agwu had weighed in on the issue, suggesting that there may be more to the conflict than just the payment. He then accused AY of abruptly ending a phone conversation when he discovered that Agwu was planning a comedy show on the same day that AY normally hosts his own sho

AY, however, has refuted these accusations and provided evidence to back up his claim. He shared screenshots of dates when he held his shows and when Agwu held his, and also posted pictures of himself and Agwu hanging out with their families. AY emphasized that he and Agwu have attended each other’s shows in the past, which contradicts Agwu’s claims of being “bewitched” by AY.

In a statement addressing Agwu directly, AY questioned how it was possible for him to take over Agwu’s Easter Sunday date when the evidence showed that Agwu had not held a show on that day for several years. AY also warned that he would file a lawsuit against Agwu if he continued to make baseless accusations against him.
